Quality Control Manager

Responsibilities:

• Develop implement and maintain quality systems compliant with ISO 9001:2015.
• Conduct and oversee quality audits for multiple locations.
• Ensure product conformance with customer specifications through thorough analysis and monitoring.
• Collaborate with management and customers to address and resolve quality issues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the quality system.
• Implement and enforce ISOcompliant quality control procedures.
• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to diagnose and address chronic quality issues.
• Manage the Quality Control team including supervisors and technicians.
• Oversee the calibration and maintenance of analytical equipment.
• Develop and implement plans to comply with government contracts.
• Manage customer complaint resolutions and ensure timely responses.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Chemistry Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment.
• At least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Extensive experience with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems.
• Proficient in math and measurement skills.
• Strong problemsolving abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to interpret and communicate government specifications.
• Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record.
• Capable of leading a team of 46 technicians.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ERP systems and quality management software.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to quality control.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma.
• Ability to travel frequently including by plane.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and reporting.
