Job Description

Position: Technical Writer Aerospace

Location: Remote

TOE : FullTime Permanent Role

Responsibilities:

  • Candidate should have 8 to 12 years of experience as Technical Writer preferably with Aerospace experience

  • Prepare review revise and maintain technical documents including software and systems engineering system operations testing and user documentation.

  • Write and edit technical documentation for all project hardware and software including installation configuration and howto documentation.

  • Create code documentation for software; produce implementation guides and enduser guides for capabilities.

  • Create and maintain the information architecture.

  • Collaborate with technical and nontechnical staff to collect and interpret technical information.

  • Ensure compliance with industry and company documentation standards including SAE Aerospace Standards AIAA Standards and technical publication standards such as those from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO)123.

  • Create visual aids like diagrams charts and graphs to better explain complex technical information.

  • Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation.

  • Analyze documents to maintain continuity of style and content.

  • Manage updates and revisions to technical literature
