Job Summary:

We are actively seeking both an EIT (Engineer in Training) and a PE (Professional Engineer) with experience in municipal water and wastewater infrastructure design. These fulltime onsite roles involve designing and managing projects such as treatment plants pump stations and distribution systems.

Responsibilities:

For EIT:

• Assist in generating project deliverables including design plans specifications and reports.
  
• Support the design and production of water/wastewater treatment systems pump stations storage facilities and distribution networks.
  

For PE:

• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets; provide regular updates.
  
• Collaborate with the Project Manager on construction administration tasks such as submittals contracts and bidding.
  
• Supervise internal staff (EITs drafters) and external parties (subcontractors inspectors) to ensure project efficiency and quality.
  

Requirements

Essential:

• BS in Civil Engineering; MS degree preferred.
  
• PE certification or EIT designation required.
  
• Minimum 1 year of experience in municipal water/wastewater design for EIT; 5 years for PE.
  
• Experience with drainage design is advantageous.
  
• Proficiency in Civil 3D AutoCAD HECRAS HECHMS WaterCAD ArcGIS or similar hydraulic modeling software.
  
• Strong organizational skills attention to detail effective communication and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  

Preferred:

• Experience in design and calculations for drainage projects and municipal work.
  
• Project management and permitting experience.
  
• Previous work with Municipal Utility Districts in Texas.
