Job Title: Senior Maintenance Manager
Job Purpose:
The Senior Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of Smart City infrastructure including repairs and upgrades and ensuring compliance with environmental safety and healthrelated guidelines relevant to Smart City operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the formulation of the Smart City Maintenance Management strategy during annual planning stages.
- Provide inputs to the Smart City O&M Director and the finance team during the preparation of the annual budget.
- Steer the development and review of policies and procedures for the Maintenance Management department.
- Plan all activities for the department and keep Smart City Operations management informed of all strategic and operational activities.
- Supervise and perform routine maintenance and repairs including HVAC systems plumbing electrical and general upkeep.
- Hire train schedule and evaluate maintenance technicians and contractors ensuring adequate staffing and equipment.
- Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program to address potential issues and extend the lifespan of equipment and property systems.
- Provide input on the selection of subcontractors for projects/sites for activities such as soft services and lift maintenance.
- Conduct surprise checks at project sites to ensure proper execution of facility management activities.
- Work closely with the procurement team to source relevant consumables or spare parts for various project sites.
- Prepare business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
- Submit monthly and quarterly management and executive reports.
- Monitor track and report on the performance of contractors and outsourced work.
- Perform other special duties and projects as needed in support of organizational goals.
Additional Requirements:
- Experience managing large Facilities Management (FM) projects including district cooling plants and largescale mixeduse projects.
- Full knowledge of FM disciplines.
- Ability to manage an internal team of Engineers and Supervisors.
- Experience dealing with FM contractors and understanding RFPs.
- Ability to assist the Senior Director in daily operations and strategic tasks.
Job Requirements:
- Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a relevant discipline
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in maintenance management and reporting
- Previous experience with Smart City operations is preferable
- Knowledge of local laws regulations and the business landscape
