Job Description
Location: Midwest Region (e.g. IL IN IA KS MI MN MO NE ND OH SD WI)
Job Description: Are you a skilled Class A CDL truck driver seeking a stable regional route with consistent home time Join our team as a Midwest Regional Route Truck Driver. Youll be on the road for 8 days followed by a 34hour reset at home providing a great balance between work and family life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a tractortrailer to transport goods within the Midwest region including states such as Illinois Indiana Iowa Kansas Michigan Minnesota Missouri Nebraska North Dakota Ohio South Dakota and Wisconsin.
- Comply with all federal and state laws regulations and company policies.
- Conduct thorough pretrip and posttrip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Effectively communicate with dispatchers customers and team members to ensure timely delivery of freight.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of cargo routes and driving hours using electronic logging devices (ELDs).
- Deliver exceptional customer service by ensuring freight is delivered on time and in excellent condition.
- Efficiently manage time to meet delivery schedules and minimize downtime.
Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL.
- Minimum of 6 months of recent verifiable tractortrailer driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past three years.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Strong work ethic reliability and professionalism.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance.
