Note: This is a contingent offer based on the award of the project and a successful end client interview along background check.
We're seeking an experienced QA professional to lead testing activities, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure high-quality software delivery in both Waterfall and Agile environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and write functional/technical requirements and user stories
- Create and manage test strategies, plans, and cases
- Lead QA efforts, including effort estimation and test execution
- Collaborate with BA, developers, and DBAs on test case creation
- Assist with performance and automation testing initiatives
- Manage defect tracking and participate in triage meetings
- Provide QA leadership, manage testing scope, and communicate effectively
- Maintain and update QA documentation as needed
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years as a QA Analyst, including end-to-end testing of integrated systems
- 3+ years in a QA Lead role
- 1+ year using remote collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, SharePoint)
- 1+ year using standard QA tools for documentation and reporting
- Experience with complex SQL queries
Preferred Qualifications (project-dependent):
- 3+ years testing Cúram healthcare solutions or related systems
- 3+ years testing MMIS (Medicaid Management Information Systems)
- 5+ years testing mainframe applications and utilities (TSO, ISPF, JCL)
