Controls Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical PLC Design Manager to join growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead design development and implementation of PLC control systems.
  
• Meet with clients to understand their electrical and mechanical needs translating those requirements into technical specifications.
  
• Design and draft 2D and 3D electrical schematics and control panel layouts using AutoCAD Electrical.
  
• Develop read and interpret logical flow diagrams for control systems.
  
• Program Allen Bradley PLCs.
  
• Write clear and concise user manuals and safety instructions.
  
• Test and troubleshoot PLC programs using automation equipment.
  
• Install and supervise the installation of PLC programs on production equipment.
  

Requirements:

• 35 years of experience in a leadership role within the engineering industry.
  
• 610 years of experience in electrical engineering or a related field.
  
• Proven experience in designing and building electrical control panels.
  
• Proficiency in Allen Bradley PLC programming.
  
• AutoCAD Electrical experience.
  
• Exceptional logic reasoning and problemsolving skills.
  
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
  
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
