Our client is a leading Qatari Holding Group with diversified global business interests within the Hospitality, Real Estate, Industrial, Investment Management and Financial Services sectors. Our client now seeks to appoint a Legal Counsel - Litigation to lead the corporate legal litigation strategy and minimise risk exposure and safeguard the Group financially and commercially.
• *Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer and responsible for the following**:

- Develop and lead corporate legal litigation strategy to promote and protect the company and collaborate with management to devise efficient defence strategies.
- Oversight of litigation cases to ensure company compliance and governance capabilities to key shareholder, possibly acting as Chief Litigator, if required.
- Draft and solidify commercial agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights are protected and commercially succinct.
- Provide clarification on legal language or specifications to everyone in the organization.
- Conduct work with integrity and responsibility and maintain current knowledge of alterations in legislation.
- Management of the legal litigation budget and revise accordingly.
