Be part of our client s team as a Data Engineer where you ll collect and process raw data optimize pipelines and support datadriven applications. Collaborate with stakeholders to improve infrastructure and drive insights all while enhancing your skills in a dynamic innovative environment.
Shift: 7:00 AM 4:00 PM COL Time
Work Setup: Onsite Bogota/Medellin
Data Drills: Essential Tasks and Challenges
- Collect and process raw data at scale to optimize data pipelines for maximum scalability and reliability.
- Support the building of infrastructure for processing data from various sources providing a holistic view of company performance and informing next best actions.
- Identify design and implement internal process improvements including automating manual processes optimizing data delivery and redesigning infrastructure for greater scalability.
- Support key datadriven applications and development projects by learning the BMG codebase fixing bugs and participating in paired programming with midlevel and senior developers.
- Collaborate with stakeholders including analytics and buying teams to assist with applicationrelated technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
Requirements

- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Familiarity with AWS technologies such as S3 EC2 and Lambda.
- Understanding of ETL processes and best practices.
- Familiarity with Snowflake database concepts and data modeling.
- Strong attention to detail project management and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical skills related to working with unstructured datasets.
- Ability to manipulate process and extract value from large disconnected datasets.
- Ability to adapt to new languages methodologies and platforms.
- Education:Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Engineering Mathematics or a related field.
Tech Stack:
- Proficiency in AWS technologies such as S3 EC2 and Lambda.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Knowledge of ETL processes.
- Familiarity with Snowflake database concepts and data modeling.
Additional Information:
- Preferred Tech Stack: Snowflake. Azure if it presents a challenge.
- Required: Python SQL AWS.
