Parapro Middle School Position Openings

• Maintain a safe and positive classroom environment.
  
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
  
• Help prepare instructional materials and classroom activities.
  
• Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
  
• Assist classroom teachers with instructional support and classroom management.
  
• Supervise students during noninstructional times such as recess lunch and field trips.
  
• Support students with special needs by following Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  
• Communicate effectively with teachers staff and parents regarding student progress and needs.
  
• Perform clerical tasks such as taking attendance grading assignments and organizing classroom supplies.
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
  
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  
• Experience working with children or in an educational setting preferred
  
• Associate s degree or passing score on a state or local assessment (e.g. ParaPro Assessment)
