Display Cell Process Engineer

Responsibilities:

Lead cell design and process development activities of display modules including material selection pixel design tradeoff analysis DFMEA PFMEA and validation plan preparations

Be the center of any display cell design and process related failure root cause analysis and mitigation plan making to achieve required display performance

Proactively work with cross functional teams including architecture optical EE ME touch reliability SW and system team to drive decisions for best display module design

Support display module panel process display optical color calibration process and solutions HDR and image quality evaluation

Identify risks track and resolve issues through various phases of production

Design and integrate new display technologies into products from the prototype phase to mass production

Minimum Qualification:

Masters degree in Material Science Chemistry Physics Display Technology Display Engineering or related field.

3 years of experience in display design for consumer electronics

Experience in display module optical design and architecture system integration test debugging and analysis

Experience with process development designing display module with flat panel display technologies such as LCD or AMOLED

Ability to perform and design DOE data analysis SPC control yield improvement root cause investigation FACA quality control

Knowledge of organic and inorganic display materials display metrology photometry and colorimetry.

Experience in working with display vendors.

Trackrecord of ownership in designing and delivering consumer products

Willingness and ability to travel 30% time internationally

Preferred Qualification:

Indepth knowledge of AMLCD TFT LC cell or AMOLED design and production process

Experience with flexible substrate display technologies

Expert in display liquid crystal technology organic materials material science display backplane optical color filter design and process LEDs

Experience with optical simulation models with tools such as Lightools ZEMAX Tracepro

Excellent project management written and verbal communication skills and people skills are required
