Senior Financial Analyst

Job Summary:

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a critical role in analyzing financial data creating financial models and providing insights to drive the companys business performance. This role involves working closely with crossfunctional teams to support budgeting forecasting and strategic initiatives in the food manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct indepth financial analysis to support strategic decisionmaking and improve business performance.
• Develop maintain and enhance financial models for forecasting budgeting and longterm planning specific to the food manufacturing industry.
• Prepare detailed financial reports including variance analysis profitability analysis and key performance metrics.
• Monitor and analyze key financial and operational performance indicators relevant to food manufacturing.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather data provide financial insights and support operational efficiency.
• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Evaluate the financial implications of business initiatives capital projects and product innovations.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis to support strategic planning in the food manufacturing sector.
• Assist with monthend and yearend closing processes ensuring accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare presentations for senior management and stakeholders highlighting financial performance and strategic recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations industry standards and company policies.
• Continuously improve financial processes and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the manufacturing environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field. MBA or CFA certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis with a focus on the manufacturing industry preferably in food manufacturing.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
• Advanced skills in Excel and experience with financial software (e.g. SAP Oracle Famous Hyperion).
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience in the food manufacturing industry is a plus.
