Technical Project Manager

The technical project manager supports the agency by exhibiting the core values;

management of multiple digital projects concurrently including site builds and launches landing

pages email campaigns and ongoing digital marketing campaigns.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze business objectives and translate into project plans

• Define and plan the scope of digital projects create project plans prepare budgets allocate resources and manage time and cost through project completion

• Partner with multiple teams across our company to prioritize projects by understanding scope requirements level of effort and state of our pipeline and clarifying tradeoffs when changes are made to that plan.

• Implement software development team tools to maximize efficiency productivity and mitigate risks.

• Forecast resources needed to achieve goals and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner

• Manage communication of active work backlog priorities and risks to developers and other stakeholders.

• Liaison with clients and account team members for technical project requests

• Address and resolve issues that may arise during the project development process

• Measure project performance and productivity to identify areas for improvement

• Track the execution projects against your plan. Manage project documentation and report on project status backlog and resources.

• Deliver projects on time and within budget ensuring that quality standards are met

• Support other areas needed to keep projects moving forward.

• Work cross collaboratively to define goals for the next quarter.

• Document refine and improve current processes

• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in computer science digital marketing or relevant field

• 4 years of experience as a technical project or program manager preferably in a digital agency environment.

• Implemented project management and development team productivity and reporting tools

• Ability to work in a dynamic work environment and effortlessly own and prioritize multiple projects.

• Strong technical analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to understand challenges and risks in order to provide timely recommendations and drive decisions.
  

• Advanced organizational and project management skills and ability to manage competing priorities without losing sight of the most important initiatives.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills to be able to influentially drive alignment among stakeholders while ensuring execution accountability across teams.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Knowledge of UE software

• Familiar with content management systems and HTML/CSS

• Project Management Professional certification (PMP)

Working with Git version control Utilizes both object-oriented programming (OOP) and functional programming Experience interfacing and developing web applications with JavaScript and server-side (PHP) client libraries/APIs/SDKs (RESTful and SOAP) Familiar with debugging and reverse engineering codebases without elaborate problem descriptions Familiarity with profiling code execution, both server-side (using tools such as Xdebug) and client-side (using tools such as Google Searchlight and Runtime Performance audit in DevTools) Experience using third-party profiling tools, including Google PageSpeed Insights and Pingdom, to optimize website performance, and understands how to implement recommendations from these tools Experience with secure coding principles and best practices for web applications; familiar with and implements measures against common security vulnerabilities, such as XSS Has worked with marketing platforms including Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Google Search Console Experience working in Scrum and other agile development methodologies Experience with package managers (Composer, NPM) Experience setting up and maintaining LAMP and LEMP servers, both dedicated and virtualized (notably Red Hat, CentOS, and Ubuntu distributions); familiarity with the linux command line, setting up active traffic and performance monitoring solutions, optimizing PHP-FPM pools and tuning Apache/Nginx configurations based on server load and CPU and I/O utilization; ensuring software versions are up to date and security patches are applied promptly; install and test custom software Create and implement database specifications, design models, and queries to meet the functional requirements of custom web applications Ensures code rigidity and compatibility by testing all use cases (and includes edge cases into function design) and ensures code accuracy in QA. Applies to designed web pages (responsive layouts and cross-browser/device testing), front-end code, and back-end code Familiarity with writing custom or framework-driven RESTful APIs is a plus Familiarity with deployments to AWS is a plus Experience developing with eCommerce platforms (Magento) is a plus
