Job Description
Location:Near Manchester Minnesota
Position Type: FullTime
Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to promoting the emotional social and academic success of our students. This role involves working collaboratively with educators parents and administrators to create supportive learning environments.
Overview:
- Offer crisis intervention and support as needed
- Provide individual and group counseling to students
- Create and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans
- Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to identify student needs
- Develop and implement intervention strategies to improve student wellbeing and academic performance
- Facilitate professional development for staff on mental health issues and effective intervention strategies
- Consult with teachers parents and administrators to address students academic and behavioral challenges
Requirements
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- State certification or licensures as a School Psychologist
- Master s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Strong understanding of child development learning theories and behavioral management
