Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Contract Business Analyst to join our team for the duration of the MDM system upgrade project. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth transition from the existing Landis & Gyr (L&G) v4.5 MDM system to the latest version (v6.2) while leveraging Itron UIQ for gas Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including IT operations and project management to gather requirements and define business processes related to MDM.
- Analyze existing processes and identify areas for improvement efficiency gains and cost savings.
- Assist in the evaluation and selection of MDM software solutions.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit stakeholder input and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Document functional specifications use cases and process flows.
- Support testing efforts including user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Provide ongoing support during the transition phase and postimplementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Information Systems or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst preferably in the utility or energy sectors.
- Familiarity with MDM systems L&G experience preferred
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Project management knowledge is a plus.
