To be successful in this role knowledge of federal and state employment laws is needed along with some background in payroll and HRIS/payroll software. (Paylocity is a plus!) - Oversee and administer employee benefits compensation and leave
- Assist with payroll and ensure competitive compensation structures
- Manage employee life cycle and promote an inclusive fair and positive work culture
- Understand the needs of our organization track trends and develop and implement initiatives that will assist with growth and areas of opportunity
- Maintain department budget and policy compliance with federal and state regulations
- Promote employee engagement assist with questions and concerns and provide guidance when coaching and performance management is needed
