This project is at a stage where we must think ahead to ensure the resilience and scalability of our production systems. As we continue to grow we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual with a strong background in graph databases and production environments. This role is crucial in providing a robust safety net for our systems while also driving improvements and innovations.

Tasks

• Primary Focus: Ensure stability and reliability of our systems by being the goto expert for Neptune database operations especially during critical online failures.
• System Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of our graph database systems leveraging your expertise to optimize performance and scalability.
• Incident Management: Handle and resolve production incidents with confidence maintaining system integrity and uptime.
• Project Leadership: Lead or contribute to the development of key features ensuring they are delivered on time and meet quality standards.

Requirements

• Neptune Proficiency: Deep expertise in Amazon Neptune particularly in production environments. If you have strong experience in Neo4j or other graph databases and have worked on smaller Neptune projects we encourage you to apply.
• Gremlin Knowledge: While optional familiarity with Gremlin is highly recommended and will be a significant advantage.
• GraphQL Expertise: Proven experience with GraphQL with a track record of implementing it in production environments.
• AWS Experience: Demonstrated experience working extensively with AWS not just dabbling but with a proven record of successful project delivery in a production setting.
• Production Environment Experience: A solid background in managing live systems with a proven ability to handle incidents and maintain high service levels.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AppSync Knowledge: Understanding of AWS AppSync and its integration with other AWS services is a big bonus.
• Coding Experience: Even basic coding skills or the ability to read and understand code is a plus.
• Leadership Experience: Experience in leading projects or specific features within projects with clear responsibilities and successful outcomes.
