Job Title: Scrum Master (QA Background)

Location: Remote

Duration: 6 months

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with a background in QA to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background having worked formally as a developer or QA and possess extensive experience in Scrum and Agile methodologies. Exceptional communication skills and experience with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scrum Leadership: Guide and coach the team on Scrum practices ensuring adherence to Agile methodologies.
• Facilitation: Organize and facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily standups sprint planning reviews and retrospectives.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product owners development teams and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment.
• Impediment Removal: Identify and remove impediments to ensure the teams progress and efficiency.
• Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement encouraging the team to reflect on and improve their processes and performance.
• SAFe Implementation: Ensure the teams alignment with SAFe principles and practices facilitating the adoption and execution of SAFe in the organization.

Required Skills:

• Technical Background: Must have come from a technical background formal developer or QA experience is required.
• Scrum and Agile: Strong experience in Scrum and Agile methodologies.
• Communication: Must be an exceptional communicator capable of facilitating effective collaboration and engagement among team members and stakeholders.
• SAFe Experience: Experience with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven track record in a similar role with demonstrable results in Agile environments.
• Certifications: Scrum Master certification (CSM) and SAFe certification are highly desirable.
• Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field is preferred.
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership problemsolving abilities and the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
