Job Description
Horizon Controls Group have a fantastic opportunity for a DCS Automation Engineer/Planner who will be reporting to the Site Automation Lead and be specifically responsible for DCS site projects and day to day operational support.
This candidate will be required to work closely with the DCS team responsible for the DCS Automation system and related IT scope and with vendors / partners with responsibility for delivery of system.
Position is Initially onsite full time with a view to 3 days P/W onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Support Project Department in the engineering estimates and scheduling of automation related changes.
- Support the planning of the automation change executions with the site automation team.
- Coordinate day to day production support for the site DCS systems.
Requirements
Experience in the following would be desired:
- 3 years relevant experience in regulated environment preferred in pharma industry.
- DCS ABB Advant / 800xA Eurotherm DCS and/or other DCS experience (e.g. DeltaV)
- Data historian and reporting systems such as OSI PI.
- Computer System Validation.
- Project Management and scheduling.
- Extensive project execution skills combined with routine/support work planning & scheduling.
- Experience in reviewing and approving technical and compliance documentation.
- Contractor and vendor management skills.
- Good communication presentation and interpersonal skills
- Experience working in a GMP environment.
- Strong knowledge of Pharmaceutical and manufacturing / utility processes.
