Agricultural Engineering Expert

• Review and analyze technical and economic feasibility studies for agricultural projects focusing on irrigation systems and crop production.
  
• Assess projects for funding eligibility emphasizing experience with irrigation and agriculture production in open fields and greenhouses.
  
• to detailed project evaluation reports including financial analyses and technical recommendations for irrigation and crop production projects.
  
• Review and provide feedback on terms of reference for consultants and tender documents for contractors to ensure alignment with project requirements in irrigation and agriculture.
  
• Track and monitor project progress including irrigation efficiency and crop production performance addressing any issues that arise.
  
• Represent the organization at conferences and workshops to stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in agricultural engineering.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Agricultural Engineering.
  
• Master s degree or PhD in Agricultural Engineering.
  
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in managing irrigation and agricultural production projects including open field and greenhouse cultivation for various crops.
  
• Proficiency in Arabic and English; knowledge of French is advantageous.
  
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel for financial modeling and analysis.
  
• Proven experience in designing and managing irrigation systems and agricultural production projects across different types of crops.
  
• Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage and analyze project budgets.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement and presentation of technical and financial information.
