Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC machines including lathes mills and grinders to produce parts and components as per blueprints and specifications.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings blueprints and technical documents to determine machine settings and operational sequences.
  • Load raw materials and parts into the machines ensuring proper alignment and secure clamping.
  • Monitor machine operations making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Inspect finished products using precision measuring tools to verify conformance to specifications and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate production records including machine settings run times and quantities produced.
  • Collaborate with engineers supervisors and other team members to improve processes and resolve production issues.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in CNC machining or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with a strong understanding of CNC machine operation and programming.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Knowledge of CNC software and programming languages (e.g. Gcode).
  • Familiarity with precision measuring tools such as micrometers calipers and gauges.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Physical ability to lift and move materials and stand for extended periods.
