Position Details:

• Title: Speech Language Pathologist
• Location: Pittsburg CA
• Duration: Fulltime Sy 2425
• Onsite/Virtual: Onsite
• Position Type: Contract
• Working Hours: 40 hours weekly from Monday to Friday
• Student Age Group: Multiple sites available
• Case Load: 5565 kids

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to evaluate students speech language and communication abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and goals based on assessment findings and collaboration with the students educational team.
• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in individual or group settings.
• Implement evidencebased therapeutic interventions and strategies to address communication disorders and promote functional communication skills.
• Collaborate with teachers parents and other school staff to integrate speech and language goals into the students educational plans.
• Monitor students progress towards speech and language goals adjust treatment plans as needed and provide regular updates to educational team and parents.
• Provide consultation and training to school staff on strategies to support students communication needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of speech and language therapy services provided.
• Stay current with trends and best practices in speechlanguage pathology.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in SpeechLanguage Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current license to practice as a SpeechLanguage Pathologist in California.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American SpeechLanguageHearing Association preferred.
• Experience with schoolaged children preferably in an educational setting.
• Knowledge of assessment and intervention techniques for a range of speech and language disorders.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to promoting communication skills literacy and academic success for all students.
