RD Product Manager

Join their FLSmidth Salt Lake City Mining Technology Center team in a unique hybrid role for Precious Metal Recovery products. Managing the development and launch of the technology followed by owning the products commercial success over its lifecycle including sales marketing R&D product application competition and market tracking product positioning and technical training globally.

Your responsibilities

R&D Project Manager (prelaunch)

• Lead R&D efforts with structured project management ensuring product alignment with market needs.
• Define product features and applications fostering innovation within the team.
• Apply engineering expertise to refine solutions and oversee successful market launches.
• Develop short and longterm product roadmaps recommending new developments.
• Communicate project progress results and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.

Product Line Manager (launch/postlaunch)

• Assume full ownership/responsibility for the products success internally and externally.
• Champion the product line analyze market trends and guide strategic decisions.
• Sets guidelines for product applications and process warranties while managing technical publications.
• Monitor competitiveness prepare financial reports and support customers with technical solutions.
• Manage Industry Sales Support (ISS) function and evaluate proposal risks.
• Develop global sales and marketing strategies coordinate inventory management and ensure project profitability through

What You Bring:

• B.S. degree in engineering or science disciplines is preferred. Three to five years (35) experience related to product line or
• process equipment.
• Interpret RFQ documents specifications and knowledge of marketing bidding and pricing techniques.
• Use of MSProject SharePoint and other collaboration tools.
• Must communicate verbally and in writing on a technical level and make formal presentations.
• Must be proficient with a personal computer using companystandard software.
• Demonstrate leadership organizational interpersonal and customerrelations skills.
• Proven skills in planning budgeting and forecasting.

• Capability to travel internationally 20%40% (as Product Manager)
• Experience in running and managing pilot test programs along with data analysis is an advantage.
