Working as a Technical Product Owner ServiceNow

As Product Owner &Teamlead ServiceNow you will be instrumental in defining and driving our technical and long term strategy for ServiceNow and leading a team of highly skilled Admins Developers and Support Engineers. Your focus will be on ServiceNow platforms ensuring they align seamlessly with our business objectives and enhance the efficiency of our services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and communicate a ServiceNow Development & Management strategy that is tightly aligned with the companys business goals and customer requirements.
  • Take charge of the ServiceNow platforms overseeing their utilization maintenance and continuous improvement. Ensure that the ServiceNow platforms meet industry standards comply with relevant regulations and are aligned with the OCD security strategy.
  • Work together with the Continuous Improvement department and the business stakeholders to identify opportunities for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of our services and applications as well as to understand requirements and prioritize backlog items.
  • Work closely with ServiceNow Team the ISS Chief architect the ISS Security Coordinator and other relevant teams to make informed design and architecture decisions for automation solutions.
  • Manage our agile processes including planning backlog grooming and reviews. Defining common baselines like for example Acceptance Criteria Definition of Done Overall ensure the teams work aligns with the product vision.
  • For given CI requests engage with key internal stakeholders including department heads and security analysts to gather feedback understand needs and communicate progress.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for ServiceNow technical aspects ensuring knowledge is shared and easily accessible within the team.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with ServiceNow ensuring the security and reliability of the delivered product(s). This needs to happen in close relationship with the ISS Security Coordinator.
  • Guide and support team members manage project timelines and act as a liaison between stakeholders and the technical team to facilitate effective communication and resolution of issues.

What we expect of you

  • University degree in computer science information technology or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a ServiceNow Administrator or Developer role.
  • Strong technical understanding of ServiceNow platform scripting languages and security technologies. Experience with managing a fast growing ServiceNow platform is a great advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience working in Agile/Scrum environments leading crossfunctional teams and delivering successful outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to make informed decisions in a fastpaced environment.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams toward common goals.
