What You Will Do

The Compensation Manager will be accountable for developing and implementing strategies and plans to ensure competitive and fair compensation practices and programs that align with the Viega LLC vision and philosophy.

This position will provide leadership and guidance to a Compensation Analyst a direct report while partnering closely with our Global Viega HR team outside the US. They will partner extensively with the People Business Partners People Centers of Excellence and Business Leaders throughout the organization to enable consistent and equitable practices establish efficiencies and identify opportunities to maintain external competitiveness.

The Compensation Manager will also attend to regulatory compliance requirements and work with the aforementioned team members to enhance employee satisfaction motivation and overall organizational success.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing all base pay incentive and compensation plans the organization’s career architecture and job assignments employee recognition related to compensation and ensuring our systems are aligned with our pay practices for the US and Canada.
  • Defining and managing the salary survey strategy including participation and use of results for analysis structure and plan updates.
  • Managing the annual planning and review of compensation and incentive programs.
  • Maintaining and updating the annual Sales Incentive Plan full endtoend process; payment change management stakeholder management and plan efficacy.
  • Creating and delivering training to employees and managers related to compensation bonus and employee recognition programs.
  • Planning and managing the ADP and SuccessFactors compensation and bonus modules to ensure efficient use accuracy and consistency of reporting.
  • Managing and supporting the work of a Compensation Analyst. Provide guidance training and mentorship to achieve performance and support growth in their position.
  • Other duties as outlined in the full job description and/or assigned by the Director of People Operations and Total Rewards.

Who You Are

You have experience with and understanding of all areas of total rewards as well as the interconnection of reward programs to all other HR disciplines people programs and employee satisfaction and performance. You can demonstrate proficiency in managing concurrent projects and programs; effectively planning executing and monitoring work progress to ensure timely delivery while proactively addressing risks and issues to ensure successful outcomes.

You are also capable of confidently managing vendor and partner relationships have foundational knowledge and previous use of Microsoft tools (especially Excel) and have strong HR systems acumen (preferably in ADP SAP and/or SuccessFactors).

You are also versed in change enablement strategies including stakeholder management issue resolution barrier elimination and effective communication.

  • Experience with and understanding of all areas of total rewards as well as the interconnection of reward programs to all other HR disciplines people programs and employee satisfaction and performance.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing concurrent projects and programs; effectively planning executing and monitoring work progress to ensure timely delivery while proactively addressing risks and issues to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Versed in change enablement strategies including stakeholder management issue resolution barrier elimination and effective communication to drive awareness provide knowledge and reinforce changes for successful implementation.
  • Confidently manages vendor and partner relationships to ensure efficient delivery against scope in support of established goals and objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; informing influencing and advocating with varying audiences and types of stakeholders.
  • Exhibits strategic acumen in aligning compensation practices with organizational goals industry trends and compliance needs to develop solutions that enhance employee engagement and performance.
  • Strong systems acumen and analytical skills to optimize systems and interpret data to leverage insights for datadriven decisionmaking and strategic planning.
  • High level of proficiency with the Microsoft suite of applications especially leveraging Excel pivot tables VLOOKUP macros and advanced formulas.

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of compensation experience including FLSA and other state/local labor laws design and management of incentive plans job architecture and pay structures.
  • Working knowledge of visa and inpat/expat assignments leveraging and partnering with vendors and external partners.
  • Experience with HRIS system for compensation ADP and SuccessFactors preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Finance Mathematics Economics Accounting or Business preferred or equivalent work experience
