Job Description
- We are building a team that is accountable and responsible for the work they deliver. This means that you will be expected to support your work after it has been released to our customers. We build it, we own it.
A Software Engineer is expected to have knowledge in developing, managing data, integrating with other systems, and learning new technology that enables the solution. It is not required that you have skills in all of the following technologies, but you may have to learn depending on the work you are given:
- Spring Boot / Java
- React / TypeScript / JavaScript
- PostgreSQL
- Jira / Confluence / Git / GitHub Actions
- Nice to have: Elastic Search / Logstash / Kibana
- Passion for learning, innovating, and delivering valuable software to people.
- Experience working in Agile teams (Scrum or Kanban).
- Independent and reliable.
- Ability to work and collaborate with people across the globe with diverse cultures and backgrounds.
- Extra points if you have experience with any of the following (the more the better):
- AWS Technologies including EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, Route53, ELB, API Gateway, and others
- SCSS / CSS3
- Activiti / Camunda / Flowable BPM (Keyword)
- Snowflake / Redshift
- TDD
- BDD
- CI/CD
- Kubernetes / Docker
- Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Math, Computer Science, Information Science, or equivalent degree is preferred but not required. We will hire self-taught engineers without a formal education given that you have evidence of rich history of software engineering.
Experience Requirements:
- Long history of enjoying problem solving and building things
- 3+ years of hands-on software development experience
