Job Description

The company is one of the leading and fast growing manufacturer of Aroma Chemicals Fragrances and Flavours in India. It is one of the preferred suppliers to customers in India and abroad. Currently setting up a new manufacturing facility in Lote Chiplun in Maharashtra in addition existing facility in Wada Maharashtra to cater to the ever growing demands of the customers. The company is managed by Technocrats having over three decades of experience in the industry.
The company is looking for a General Manager to lead the operations of the new unit in Lote Chiplun in Maharashtra.

Job Description

Position General Manager Operations
Location Lote (Chiplun)
Reporting Director
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Project related work
2. Factory operations including raw materials supply production etc
3. Technical transfer (in case if any)
4. Look after QC related matter
5. ENVIRONMENT SAFETY AND HEALTH (ESH)
6. Look after Maintenance department
7. P&D etc
8. Managing daytoday technical activities with the Maintenance staff & Production team to avoid production losses.
9. Preparing launching and maintaining technical aspects of all campaigns
10. Finalize consideration sets of erection and installation of P & M and work with the team and review all proposals from vendors in all respects.
11. Lead and oversee to ensure campaign readiness to launch campaigns are executed with excellence and plans stay within specified time & approved budget
12. Maintain industry trends and assist in knowledge sharing across the team .
13. Lead the creation of views where necessary of new opportunities of vendor updates along with the Manager
14. Assist in reconciliation of discrepant billing issues
15. Serve as an escalation point so as to help troubleshoot operational issues
REQUIRED SKILL AND QUALIFICATIONS
1. Experience Minimum 810 years of experience preferably in F & F or Pharma Industries.
2. Excellent time management skills.
3. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Word and PowerPoint & Auto Cad. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
4. Detailoriented with exceptional critical thinking and problemsolving abilities
5. Ability to multitask work successfully with teams and work under pressure
6. Strong leadership.
7. Take all required safety measures
8. Communication with Govt. Authorites like MBCB etc wherever required.
9. Any other work as per requirement of organization from time to time
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualification M.Tech or Chemical Engineer from any reputed University.
