Devops Consultant

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing implementing and managing DevOps solutions and tools.
• Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
• Automating repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to enhance system scalability and stability.
• Monitoring and optimizing the performance of infrastructure and applications.
• Implementing infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Providing expertise in areas such as containerization orchestration and microservices.
• Ensuring security and compliance practices are integrated into the DevOps processes.
• Conducting regular system and application performance tuning.
• Participating in the resolution of incidents and outages in a timely manner.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of DevOps best practices and standards.
• Facilitating knowledge transfer and mentoring team members in DevOps methodologies.
• Assisting in the evaluation and adoption of new tools and technologies.
• Documenting processes procedures and configurations.
• Participating in oncall rotation for 24/7 support as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Version Control Systems: Git
• Continuous Integration (CI/CD): Bitbucket Pipelines / GitLab CI
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform
• Containerization and Orchestration: Docker
• Monitoring and Logging: Grafana / Cloudwatch
• Cloud Platforms: AWS (Amazon Web Services)
