ABOUT THE POSITION:

Primary Care patients CL’s Glaucoma DM AMD pediatrics optical more medical than typical because no Ophthalmologist in town; Lipiflow; Large optical; Average 3 patients per hour with a goal of 1822 patients per day.

• Flexible work schedule open to discussions.
• No call no nights no weekends.
• 36 hours per week 4.5 days per week MF 85.

• Full technician support; all pretest except refraction and ocular health
• Exam Writer (OfficeMate) EMR and PM. Will be transitioning to Nextech EMR by summer 2023.

This medical optometry office manages family eye care and glaucoma macular degeneration and diabetes. The optometrist orders and analyzes OCT VF and Optomap prescribes spectacles and contact lenses emergent visits dry eye treatment (Lipiflow available) and comanages patients for cataracts LASIK PRK surgery and more.
