Job Description

RecruitNet International Ltd is specializing in relocating qualified professionals throughout Ireland and overseas we guide you through the professional registration job placement visa and employment permit processing.

We are hiring Clinical Nurse Manager II Theatre (Orthopaedic) into a Private Hospital in Cork Ireland.

We will provide exceptional patient care in an environment where quality respect caring and compassion are at the centre of all we do.


Key Responsibilities


  • Have a lead role in the effective governance operational management and administration of the nursing and healthcare services with a particular emphasis on effective clinical leadership providing a safe environment for patients and staff while making the best use of resources.
  • Development and delivery of auditing and reporting in line with relevant legislation and quality standards
  • Adhere to and contribute to the development and maintenance of nursing standards protocols and guidelines consistent with the highest standards of care and in line with the Code of Professional Practice and Behaviors for Registered Nurses
  • Ensure all relevant records are kept clear and up to date in the respective center relating to each service user
  • Facilitate and deliver appropriate training
  • Provide appropriate supervision and performance management to assigned staff
  • Develop and implement all relevant clinical policies and procedures


Requirements

Registration with NMBI

Demonstrable commitment to patient safety and quality

Minimum five years of postgraduate theatre nursing experience essential

Uptodate knowledge and experience of theatre practises in particular

Previous experience in orthopaedic services

Minimum three years experience in a people management role

Management qualification preferable

Proven leadership and change management skills

Excellent knowledge of contemporary nursing practice and skills

Ability to make decisions with excellent organisational skills

Vision of development of service
