About The Role
Trustees are responsible for providing good governance for our students’ union. LSE Students’ Union is a charity, and in addition to ensuring that the SU complies with charity and company law and is generally engaged in good practice, trustees are collectively responsible for:
- Safeguarding and promoting the mission, vision and values of LSE SU
- Determining the strategy and structure of LSE SU
- Ensuring that the Students’ Union operates in an effective, responsible and accountable manner
- Ensuring the effective functioning of the trustees
