Strategy Development:


As an ETL Test Manager you will contribute to the organizations data integrity and support data
driven decisionmaking by ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our data integration processes.
Your leadership and technical skills will be essential in delivering highquality ETL solutions to meet
business needs.

Define and develop the overall ETL testing strategy including test planning test design and

execution approaches.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements data sources

transformation rules and integration points.

Test Planning and Design:

Lead the creation of comprehensive ETL test plans test cases and test scripts ensuring
coverage of data validation transformation reconciliation and data integrity checks.
Identify and document test scenarios based on business logic and technical requirements.

Build and manage a team of ETL testers providing mentorship guidance and regular

feedback to ensure the teams growth and effectiveness.

Allocate resources assign tasks and monitor progress to ensure timely and highquality
team Leadership deliverables.

Test Execution:

Oversee the execution of ETL test cases troubleshoot issues and work closely with the

development and data teams to resolve defects and inconsistencies.

Monitor and track testing progress providing status updates and reports to stakeholders.

Evaluate opportunities for test automation to improve efficiency and repeatability of ETL

Test Automation:

testing processes.

Implement and manage automated ETL testing frameworks and tools.

Defect Management:


Identify log and manage defects and issues discovered during testing and collaborate with

development teams to ensure timely resolution.

Conduct root cause analysis and provide recommendations for process improvements.

Enforce data quality standards and best practices ensuring that data is accurate consistent

and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Contribute to the establishment of data quality metrics and KPIs.

Quality Assurance:

Collaboration:

Collaborate closely with data engineers business analysts project managers and other

stakeholders to ensure a seamless ETL testing process.

Participate in crossfunctional meetings providing insights into testing progress and

Requirements and skills

Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field.
Proven experience (10 years) in ETL testing with a strong understanding of data integration concepts and methodologies.
Previous experience in a leadership or management role overseeing a team of testers.
Proficiency in ETL testing tools and frameworks.
Strong SQL skills for querying and validating data.
Familiarity with data warehousing data modeling and data transformation concepts.
Excellent communication leadership and interpersonal skills.
Problemsolving mindset and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is a plus.
Relevant certifications in software testing or data management are advantageous.
