Job Description
Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic
Quakertown PA
Salary: $32.00 $38.00 per hour

Duties:

Duties:
- Using rigging equipment and a dolly for placing and transporting heavy machines
- Fitting aligning and attaching mechanical components
- Testing equipment for efficiency and making adjustments when necessary
- Completing inspections and replacing defective equipment
- Operating machine tools such as lathes and grinders to fabricate parts
- Using cranes fork trucks hoist pulleys dollies and rollers to move materials and equipment
- Welding and Fabrication
Requirements
- At least 23years applicable experience
- CLD Class B License
- Diesel truck engine experience
- Construction equipment experience
- Diesel truck engine experience

Skills/Qualifications: Familiar with using refrigerant gauges, electrical and multi meters. Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trade. Good verbal and written communication skills and a professional approach to working. Valid driver s license. Upbeat personality and able to interact with customers, suppliers, and fellow workers. Experience: This position requires a minimum of 2 years experience in the service and repair of either commercial or transport refrigeration equipment.
