Job Description

Job Title:

Shipping & Receiving Coordinator


Reports To:

Warehouse Supervisor


Summary:


The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator oversees shipping and receiving logistics. The coordinator is responsible for accepting documenting and staging items delivered to the Trendsetter Facility. The coordinator will also package ship and record items being sent out from the Trendsetter facility.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Assist with shipping and receiving functions at Trendsetter Facility
  • Communicate with production coordinators on any shipping related issues
  • Generate packing lists for outgoing shipments
  • Verify and document items received in warehouse
  • Verify and document items as they are sent from Trendsetter Facility
  • Accurately enter receiving information in accounting system
  • Identify and tag inventory and consignment items
  • Stage newly received items in quarantine area to be inspected by quality
  • Organize inventory according to set standards
  • Stage components for each assembly
  • Retrieve tools equipment or inventory as needed
  • Document items as they enter and exit the inventory area
  • Operate forklift and other heavy equipment
  • Promote safety awareness and comply with all applicable safety procedures and regulations
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Be familiar with Company HSE policies and procedures
  • All other duties as assigned


Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or GED and at least 5 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with an inventory control system is preferred
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to demonstrate strong decisionmaking skills initiative and assertiveness
  • Must be able to operate a forklift
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds




Qualifications: Education: Engineering Degree from an EAC/ABET accredited program. E.I.T. Certification or passed FE exam preferred Experience and Skills: o Minimum of 5 years experience in engineering design and approval processes o Minimum of 2 years experience in subsea equipment design o Proficient in SolidWorks and ANSYS modeling software o Proficient with Microsoft Office Systems (Word, Excel, MS Project) Knowledgeable in AutoCAD 2D and Mathcad software Personal Attributes: Strong leadership and organizational skills Good communication & presentation skills, both written and oral Ability to adapt to change, when required due to the rapid response nature of business Work autonomously as well as under direction Handle multiple projects and deadlines with changing priorities
