Radiologist - Breast fellowship - Gold Coast QLD

South Coast Radiology (SCR) has an opportunity for an accredited Consultant Radiologist to join us to undertake a Diagnostic Radiology Breast Imaging Fellowship on a part time basis over 6 or 12 months depending on the level of experience ad time commitment.

With 14 practice locations on the Gold Coast stretching from Tweed Heads in the south, to Pimpama in the north, SCR offers our radiologists an interesting and challenging mix of specialist, hospital, and outpatient referrals and the Gold Coasts only dedicated specialist Women's Imaging centre.

As part of our team of 40+ radiologists, you will be able to truly influence patient outcomes as you undertake a 60/40 Radiologist consultancy and Breast fellowship position that is designed for radiologists seeking to further their education in Breast Imaging and procedures with the balance of your days as a general consultant Radiologist.

The Breast fellowship will allow you to gain subspecialist experience to:

• Better understand the Breast anatomy and pathology.
• Describe the type of diagnostic information referring clinicians need from Breast imaging.
• Use MRI as a major tool for the investigation and diagnosis of breast pathologies.
• Clearly articulate your findings in a well-structured and presented radiology report.
• Work in a busy clinical environment with patients and referring clinicians.

About You

• Commitment to Full time - 5 days per week to undertake the Breast fellowship for the 6-to-12-month period. 3 days consultant, 2 days fellowship.
• FRANZCR and eligibility for AHPRA specialist registration
• Excellent communication skills with an interest in clinical meeting participation with referrers
• Experience in mix including General Radiology, MRI, CT, Mammography, Ultrasound & Interventional procedures.
• A desire to work in a highly supported work environment using advanced imaging technology and infrastructure systems, including state-of-the-art modalities, PACS and integrated RIS
