Job Description
- SQL programming, including writing queries, stored procedures, and views.
- Write and execute complex SQL queries from various sources for effective analyses.
- Overall understanding of the business processes that would enable analyzing the data and building efficient reports.
- Develop, develop, and maintain analytical reports that meet business requirements using E-Clips, RAMP interface, and Power BI tools.
- Design and implement data validation and quality control processes.
- Perform ongoing monitoring and refinement of reports.
- Provide technical support for existing reports, dashboards, or other tools.
- Conduct tests and maintain solutions to ensure BI solutions are error-free and consistent with defined needs.
- Identify improvement opportunities and report problems/issues related to business intelligence.
- Collaborate with the IT & Operation departments to enhance the utilization of WMS data & to understand data requirements and objectives.
- Document data analysis processes, methodologies, and findings.
- Prepare analytical reports and visual dashboards to summarize findings.
- Maintain databases and data systems to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, including automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and redesigning infrastructure for greater scalability.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of data sources, logic, and definitions used in reports and dashboards.
- Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and reports.
- Develop predictive models and algorithms to support business forecasting.
- Transform manual reports into automated solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Review and optimize existing report schemas to ensure best practices and performance.
- Regularly check and maintain integration SQL queries to ensure seamless data flow and accuracy across systems.
