Refrigeration Technicians - Day Or Night Shift - Perm - Zeeland MI

Their Refrigeration Technicians are vital to maintaining their Team Members safety through problem solving and proactive upkeep. It is a fastpaced work environment where every day is different and they invest in the continued growth and skills of their Refrigeration Technicians.

Our client is offering a signon bonus of up to $5000 for all new hires for their Maintenance Roles!

Pay is determined by experience and is paid weekly!

Both day and night positions are available.

Hours are: 5p5a and 5a5p

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide maintenance support with moderate supervision to ensure the safe and effective operation of equipment and team
• Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs on mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic plant equipment
• Conduct emergency mechanical or electrical repairs as needed
• Troubleshoot issues related to mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic equipment
• Safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned production equipment
• Effectively interact with all plant personnel to accomplish plant and individual goals
• Minimize downtime due to equipment failure

Requirements:

• Education: 1 year of industrial maintenance experience education (e.g. possess industrial maintenance diploma or currently enrolled in technical school) in lieu of experience
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Refrigeration Technician or similar role
• Indepth knowledge of refrigeration systems components and controls including experience with ammonia refrigeration systems
  • Applicants will be considered for Associate Refrigeration Technicians General Refrigeration Technicians and Sr Refrigeration Technicians level openings
  • Leveling is determined during the interview process based on skillset knowledge and experience
• Computer Skills: Basic computer skills necessary for logging information processing daily work orders and completing required documentation. Ability to learn and utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Communication Skills: Effective communication and basic math skills required
