About the Role:

Were on the hunt for a dynamic Emergency Room Nurse to join the hive on behalf of our clients. In this role youll be equipped to respond to medical emergencies and provide critical care to patients in the emergency room. If youre passionate about emergency nursing and have the required certifications and experience we want to meet you!

Your Mission:

• Be ready to respond and equipped to deal with medical emergencies.
• Quickly assess patient needs.
• Treat critical injuries allergic reactions and trauma.
• Perform minor medical operations.
• Clean wounds.
• Draw blood.
• Maintain emergency room care standards.
• Assist with insurance paperwork.
• Ensure the efficiency of the patient checkin process.
• Display strong decisionmaking skills in emergency scenarios.

What You Bring:

• A nursing degree from an accredited institution and a current registered nursing license in the state of employment.
• Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) and a TX license.
• Previous travel experience.
• Experience with Cerner.
• Common Diagnosis/Treatment experience: All.
• Strong decisionmaking skills in emergency scenarios.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fastpaced highstress environment.

• Float Requirement: as needed in skillset.
• Number of Beds: 33
• Nurse Patient Ratio: 4:1 in general
• Charting: Medhost Cerner
• Special Procedures: Moderate sedation restraints.

• Must be a United States citizen or authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
