Role and Responsibilities

This position of a General Manager IT Infra& Network security is responsible for managing companys technology infrastructure & Network & Security operations and support programs for Company and group retail companies. The position requires architecting planning and implementing IT Infrastructure along with managing support programs ranging from Data Centre technologies Service Desk Technical Support Operations and Application Support Operations across our nationwide stores. The person will be responsible in steering these programs from creation to delivery.

• Provide infrastructure services vision enable innovation and leverage IT trends that can create business value consistent with the organizations requirements and expectations.
• Lead technology initiatives for technology infrastructure setup and associated project portfolio infrastructure management and evolution mobility and remote access services ubiquitous wireless networks enterprisescale messaging environments active directory multiforest integration dualcarrier global WAN softwaredefined internetworking and secure compute environment.
• Responsible for overall planning directing and organizing activities of the Network Operations team Implementing reviewing and monitoring key business projects and liaising with management teams across the company
• Network: Experience with IP networking switching and routing deep packet analysis using tools for Routers Switches Wireless LAN WAN optimizers etc. Expert understanding of switching and routing protocols especially Cisco products is required. Hands on knowledge on Software defined WAN.
• Lead a team of internal and external experts responsible for handling network management and support problem management managing network performance and proactively identifying issues before they become customer affecting.
• Security: Experience with Security products and devices Firewall Proxy VPN IPS/IDS Load Balancer etc. including security incident response process and procedures and information security best practices is mandatory.
• Manage end to end IT infrastructure and telecommunications network IT operations / service delivery IT budget and procurement vendor management and technical team management with 24x7 uptime and availability of production mission critical customer facing services deployed in a hybrid architecture. Manage capacity planning budgeting.
• Achieve high levels of service availability and performance through the implementation of infrastructure architecture tools automation and processes.
• Develop RFP/RFI conduct product evaluations manage product and service selections and ensure that pricing terms and conditions for supplier contracts meet the organization need and expectations
• Evaluate Develop & Manage Outsourced support programs including IT Infrastructure Application Support. Maintain strategic vendor relationships and outsourcing contracts create track and report operational metrics KPIs and project status for all aspects the relationship with the vendors.
• Stay up to date with current technology market trends and develop infrastructure strategy architecture and delivery processes.
• Ensure that the IT infrastructure Operations function delivers the required productivity cost service and uptime result and interface with customers/internal departments.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

B.E. / B. Tech. in Computer Science / Information Technology.

Preferred competencies& Skills

• Extensive knowledge and hands on experience of large scale Datacenter Operations Virtualized Private Cloud Network operations production operations support and Disaster Recovery
• Experience on large scale networking implementation and security management
• Exposure to information security practices and implementation experience
• Experience in related IT disciplines such as enterprise software applications various databases would be desirable
• Understanding of various frameworks & standards ITIL ISO 2001 and project management principles; their application to Infrastructure projects and teams
