Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to students including first aid medication administration and management of chronic conditions.
• Conduct health assessments and screenings.
• Develop and implement individualized health care plans for students with special health needs.
• Collaborate with teachers parents and administrators to support student health and wellbeing.
• Provide health education to students staff and parents.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records.
• Monitor and manage communicable diseases within the school.
• Participate in the development and implementation of school health policies.
• Stay current with best practices and developments in the field of school nursing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Idaho.
• Certification in School Nursing (preferred).
