Senior Accountant

Scope of Work

1. Outsourced General Accounting Services:

Tasks include general ledger accounting encompassing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and proposing necessary adjusting entries.

2. Capital Form Review Processing and Routing:

Review and process capital expenditure forms routing them for approval to designated stakeholders.

Evaluate and analyze capital expenditures depreciation proposals investment opportunities rate of return operating records and financial statements.

Communicate effectively with key clients stakeholders ensuring they possess the necessary information for success.

3. Miscellaneous Reporting:

Generate and deliver various reports including accounts receivable operational statistical and accounts payable reports.

4. Statistical Data Entry:

Analyze statistical data for input into designated systems.

5. Eliminate Simplify Standardize and Automate (ESSA):

Identify and work with clients management to eliminate unnecessary steps simplify complex processes standardize procedures across the organization and automate manual tasks.

6. Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Preparation and Analysis:

Develop and track KPIs for clients accounting and finance functions including data collection tracking analysis and reporting.

7. Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) Control Documentation Completion:

Support clients SOX requirements by compiling and completing required documentation and other duties as assigned.

8. Financial Statements:

Prepare proforma financial statements to summarize and forecast clients financial performance during the closing process and on an adhoc basis.

9. Risk and Opportunity Tracking:

Track and report risks and opportunities relative to the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) to facilitate Transtar management decisionmaking and the quarterly forecasting process.

Requirements:
The initial engagement requires one FTE with the potential for scaling based on performance and business growth. The client anticipates a phased approach to the partnership

To ensure the successful delivery of services the BPO partner must provide candidates with the following qualifications

Experience and Education:
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of related progressive experience.
Direct experience with financial reporting financial planning and analysis tasks.
CPA CMA ACCA Qualified Accountant or ACCA Diploma in Financial Management preferred.

Candidate Skills:
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills including advanced Excel proficiency and financial modeling experience.
Exceptional data analysis and interpretation abilities with a keen eye for identifying trends and patterns.
Ability to develop and implement financial forecasts budgets and performance metrics.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex financial information to both financial and nonfinancial audiences.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management and reporting.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team collaborating effectively with crossfunctional departments.
Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and quality.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and GAAP with the ability to apply them in financial analysis.
Proficiency in financial planning and analysis software and tools (e.g. ERP systems BI tools).
Ability to adapt to changing business priorities and requirements.
