IT Operations - Computer World WLL

Candidates should have worked in IT Operations for a Bank or financial institutions. (3 to 4 years experience)

• Run the daily monthly and yearly end of day processes
• Monitor Data Centres with one weekly visit to DR site
• Monitor the system for equipment failure or performance issues.
• Notify supervisor or computer maintenance technicians of equipment malfunctions.
• Attend to logged calls related to IT Operations in Service desk management system
• Read job setup instructions to determine equipment to be used order of use material such as disks and paper to be loaded and control settings.
• Operate spread sheet programs and other types of software to load and manipulate data and to produce reports.
• Load peripheral equipment with consumables and media
• Answer telephone calls to assist computer users encountering operational issues
• Help Service Desk engineers to test and diagnose computer hardware and software
• Run the operation of computer hardware systems including coordinating and scheduling the use of computers and networks to ensure efficient use.
• Track reported problems and associated solutions
• Followup daily cases and ensure that the required actions are taken
• Further develop technical aptitude and customer service knowledge skills and abilities.

Job Types: Fulltime Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: BD450.000 BD550.000 per month
