Duties and Responsibilities:
- They will also foster professional friendships with faculty and staff seek collaborative relationships with parents and mentor students in the pursuit of their own flourishing.
- Conduct occupational therapy assessments and interpret results to support student learning.
- Participate in IEP meetings MTSS meetings and other staff or department meetings.
- Provide direct and consultative therapeutic services to students in individual or group settings per IEP requirements.
- Create goals and objectives for students to work toward and identify areas of progress and challenges.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to design and implement appropriate interventions and accommodation for students.
- Maintain student records and submit information/records including student progress as needed to support students and adhere to IEP regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree or higher
- Current OR special services licensures with appropriate endorsement for OT
- 1 or more years experience or equivalent including familiarity with relevant laws and regulations
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- After offer is accepted satisfactory background check as required by state law and Colorado Department of Education
