Lead Engineer - Industrial Automation Project

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Lead Engineer to oversee and drive our Client automation project within the manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation with extensive experience in project leadership and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes. This role involves leading a multidisciplinary engineering team to design develop and implement advanced automation systems that enhance manufacturing efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership

Lead the engineering team in the planning design and execution of automation projects.

Define project scope objectives and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

Develop and manage detailed project plans timelines and budgets.

Technical Oversight

Provide technical direction and guidance to the engineering team throughout the project lifecycle.

Ensure the integration of mechanical electrical and software components to create cohesive automation systems.

Oversee the design prototyping testing and validation of automation systems and components.

Collaboration and Communication

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including production quality and supply chain to ensure alignment with project goals.

Facilitate effective communication within the project team and with external stakeholders.

Prepare and present project status updates technical reports and documentation.

Design and Development

Utilize advanced CAD tools particularly Siemens NX to support the design and development of automation systems.

Ensure designs meet industry standards regulatory requirements and best practices.

Conduct design reviews risk assessments and failure mode analyses to ensure system reliability and safety.

Resource Management

Allocate and manage resources including personnel equipment and materials to optimize project execution.

Mentor and develop team members fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Identify and address skill gaps within the team providing training and support as needed.

Quality and Compliance

Ensure that all engineering activities comply with company policies industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Implement quality control measures to ensure the highest level of precision and reliability in all deliverables.

Address and resolve any technical issues or challenges that arise during the project.

Continuous Improvement

Promote a culture of continuous improvement identifying opportunities to enhance processes tools and methodologies.

Stay updated with the latest advancements in automation technologies and manufacturing practices.

Implement lessons learned from previous projects to improve future project performance.
