About the Role:

Were seeking a dynamic MidLevel Associate to join esteemed tax group in New York. In this role youll collaborate closely with clients and team members focusing on merger and acquisition transactions debt financing and portfolio investments. Your expertise will be pivotal in designing taxefficient structures for joint ventures and corporate transactions and youll provide valuable state tax planning advice.

Your Mission:

• Advise clients on merger and acquisition transactions debt financing and portfolio investments.
• Design taxefficient structures for joint ventures and a variety of corporate transactions.
• Provide state tax planning advice to clients.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and engage with clients on complex tax matters.

What You Bring:

• JD from an ABAaccredited law school; LLM in tax preferred.
• Admitted or eligible for admission in New York.
• Minimum of four years of transactional tax experience in a law firm setting with a focus on corporate transactional and partnership taxation.
• Background in energy real estate and international taxation preferred.
