Data Storage Technologies Engineer

Responsibilities:

Design implement and manage data storage solutions to meet the organizations data needs.

Develop and maintain data storage standards and best practices.

Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to understand storage requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Evaluate and integrate new storage technologies to enhance data management capabilities.

Monitor and optimize storage performance reliability and capacity.

Provide technical support and guidance to the IT operations team regarding data storage.

Required Skills:

Education: Bachelors degree in Information Technology Engineering Computer Science or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in data storage technologies.

Technical Skills:

Extensive knowledge of data storage technologies including SAN NAS and cloud storage solutions.

Experience with storage management tools and monitoring systems.

Strong understanding of data security and compliance requirements.

Proven ability to design scalable reliable and efficient data storage solutions.

Familiarity with cloud computing and hybrid storage solutions.

Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Storage Networking Expert (CSNE) VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or similar are preferred.
