Job Description

As a Millwright you will be responsible for installing assembling and maintaining machinery and equipment on construction sites. You will work with precision and accuracy to ensure the smooth operation of all equipment minimizing any downtime and keeping the project on track. You will also be responsible for diagnosing and repairing any machinery issues and providing support for the overall construction process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and install machinery and equipment according to blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Inspect and maintain all equipment to prevent breakdowns and maintain optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot any mechanical issues and determine the best course of action for repairs.
  • Conduct regular preventative maintenance on all equipment including lubrication cleaning and replacement of parts.
  • Read and interpret schematics diagrams and technical manuals to carry out repairs and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless functioning of all equipment.
  • Provide technical support to project managers and other construction workers.
  • Follow safety protocols and adhere to all company and industry standards to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and your team.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 23 years of experience as a Millwright in the construction industry.
  • Millwright license required.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy equipment and complete tasks in various weather conditions.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to follow safety standards.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or apprenticeship program completion is a plus.
