Job Description


Job Description Learning Design TM (8 years)

Strong technical and design skills
oConducts technical professional and management training and programs
including developmental or interactive skills training to entry through advanced
level associates. Identifies sources and schedules delivery resources for
identified Learning & Performance needs.
oEvaluates the effectiveness of performance solutions against established metrics
and return on investment expectations in meeting organizations plans goals and
strategies. Provides assistance or feedback in the design of evaluation tools.
Instructional Design Skills:
oDefining Learning Objectives: Analyze learning needs and document clear
learning objectives.
oResearch and Collaboration: Conduct research and collaborate with subject
experts to gather relevant information.
oCreating training Material: Designing learning contents such as courses
curriculum student guides or training manuals.
oOptimizing Learning Content: Redesign content to match learner needs and
ensuring it aligns with educational goals.
oMultimedia Development: Create visual audio and interactive learning contents
to enhance engagement using the below listed tools and applications.
Creative problemsolving skills attention to detail and the ability to think strategically and
act tactically
oProblemSolving Skills: Strong problemsolving skills to overcome challenges
and obstacles that may arise during task management and project execution.
This involves identifying issues brainstorming solutions and implementing
effective strategies to resolve them.
oExamples of how you could determine this in an interview:
Describe a situation where you had to think strategically to solve a
problem. What tactics were used and what was the outcome
Provide an example of projects or tasks you ve been involved with where
attention to detail was critical to success.
Ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines individually and as a team in a fastpaced
collaborative environment. Examples:
oDesigns and develops learning solutions to meet identified performance gaps for
all levels of associates and management. May identify and source or partner with
technical or thirdparty resources to ensure appropriate design and development
solution.
oTime Management: Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently to meet
deadlines both individually and as part of a team. For instance prioritizing tasks
setting realistic timelines and allocating time effectively for each task.
oCommunication Skills: Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with
team members stakeholders and clients. This includes providing timely updates
on task progress discussing requirements and seeking clarification when
needed.
oAdaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements in a fast
paced environment. This involves being flexible and able to reprioritize tasks as
needed to meet deadlines and project milestones.
oCollaboration and Teamwork: Proven track record of working collaboratively with
team members to achieve common goals. This includes actively participating in
team meetings sharing knowledge and insights and aiding team members when
necessary.
oLeads Learning & Performance related projects which may include skill based
assignment customer service training initiatives and team effectiveness.
Attention to Detail: Paying close attention to detail when designing content to ensure
accuracy and completeness. This includes proofreading content and adhering to
established guidelines and standards.
oFeedback Incorporation: Willingness to receive feedback from team members or
stakeholders and incorporate it into task management and knowledge material
creation processes. This helps improve the quality of work and ensures
alignment with project objectives.
oOwnership and Accountability: Taking ownership of assigned tasks and
demonstrating accountability for meeting deadlines and delivering highquality
work. This involves being proactive taking initiative and taking responsibility for
the outcomes of individual and team efforts.
