Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Human Resources Generalist. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of HR expertise administrative proficiency and strong interpersonal skills to effectively support our workforce and organizational objectives.


Salary: $50000
Location: Onsite in Darien IL
Schedule: MondayFriday FullTime Hours
Type: 3month contract w/ opportunity for conversion


Responsibilities:


Human Resources Management:
    • Oversee the onboarding processes ensuring the organization retains top talent.
    • Develop and administer employee benefit programs including health insurance retirement plans and wellness initiatives.
    • Address employee relations issues promptly and effectively fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
    • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations at all levels.
Talent Development and Training:
    • Work with Department Leadership to identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
    • Implement career development initiatives to support employee growth and advancement within the organization.
    • Work with President to facilitate mentorship and coaching programs to foster professional development and succession planning.
Administrative Oversight:
    • Manage administrative functions including office operations and facilities management.
    • Work with department leadership to develop and implement administrative policies and procedures to streamline operations and ensure efficiency.
    • Collaborate with department heads to optimize administrative support across the organization.
Strategic Planning Support and Reporting:
    • Contribute to strategic planning initiatives by providing insights and recommendations related to workforce management and organizational development.
    • Prepare reports and analysis on key HR and administrative metrics presenting findings to senior management as needed.
    • Monitor industry trends and best practices to inform decisionmaking and continuous improvement efforts.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field a plus; or related experience.
  • 3 years of experience in HR Functions.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies procedures and employment laws.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and other relevant software applications.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to make datadriven decisions.
  • Certification in Human Resources (e.g. PHR SPHR) is a plus.
