Mammography Technician

Hirearchy LLC is looking for a fulltime entrylevel Mammography Technician for an Atlantabased hospital. The ideal candidate is someone who has extensive healthcare experience great customer service and is looking for career advancement. The salary is $58760 to $96636 based on the candidates experience.

As a mammography technologist you will be responsible for conducting mammographic examinations on patients to assist in the diagnosis of breast diseases. You will operate specialized Xray equipment to produce highquality images of the breast tissue and work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnostic results.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform mammographic screenings and diagnostic exams according to established protocols and physician orders.
   
2. Position patients correctly and provide clear instructions to obtain optimal images while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
   
3. Operate and maintain mammography equipment ensuring proper functioning and adherence to safety standards.
   
4. Evaluate images for clarity and completeness ensuring that all necessary anatomical structures are visible.
   
5. Assist radiologists during procedures and collaborate with other members of the healthcare team.
   
6. Maintain patient records and documentation accurately.
   
7. Educate patients about the mammography procedure answer their questions and address concerns.
   
8. Adhere to regulatory requirements quality assurance guidelines and departmental policies and procedures.
   

Working Conditions:
